A brand new aluminium diesel radiator for the Hilux Pickup Mk5 KDN165 with the 2.5cc D4D 2KDFTV engine between 2001-2005 manufactured by leading manufacturer Nissens.
The radiator consists of plastic top and bottom tank which house the water outlets with drain tap at the bottom and steel metal powder coated mounting side plates and an aluminium brazed core for strength and durability.
RoughTrax also add a new radiator cap for correct fitment and less hassle for the customer.
There are various makes of radiator on the market but we will only supply a quality branded product that we know and trust, comes boxed packed and well packaged.
Nissens are probably one of the most renowned and well-respected manufacturers in the industry - in fact, OE to some car manufacturers.
When changing a radiator it is always a good idea to replenish the coolant to help prevent corrosion throughout the system.
The Tech:
- This new radiator is constructed as per Original Equipment design and materials, it features a new 500x518x32mm thick Alloy Core that has been solder flux coated then oven baked for 45 mins.
- Solder is then allowed to flow throughout the radiator core giving a perfect joint and far superior strength to the radiator
- This coupled with high-grade plastic tanks and strong side mounting plates provides by far the best aftermarket radiator we have ever stocked
- Inlets and Outlets are 38mm diameter
- Similar mechanical type core construction radiators are simply clamped together, these are often found weeping after a relatively short period due to the expansion and contraction of the radiator during normal operating conditions.
