A Sheriff aluminium 5mm fuel tank guard skid plate for under body protection, manufactured by OE manufacturer Sheriff specifically for the Hilux Pickup KUN25 and KUN26 models between 2011- 09/2015, complete with fitting instructions and hardware.
This Guard can be fitted to earlier KUN25 and 26 models but you will need to drill two mounting points in your cross member and one in a guard in order for it to fit hence why Sheriff only list for the 2011- 09/2015 chassis that already has these drilled points to take the guard as intended.
This fuel tank guard comes in one section and fits from the cross member before the fuel tank to the back of the fuel tank area providing excellent protection. All necessary brackets and hardware are supplied with the kit.

Sheriff skid plates only use OE apertures of the vehicle’s body and high quality fastening are supplied for mounting of a skid plate and they have optimal shape corresponding to a certain vehicle under body shape.
Sheriff skid plates are designed subject to the individual characteristics of the vehicle. Its construction depends on body type, engine capacity, gearbox type, components and other parameters.
The original thickness of the standard factory fitted sump guards & transmission guards is less than 1mm, exposing them to rust & corrosion from the salt content on the roads. Sheriff aluminium skid plates are 5mm thick, that's more than five times the thickness of the original standard guard!
The advantages:

How to Fit Your Sump Guard:
Delivered together with the mounting scheme, that will describes the position and order of the accessories used during the operation.
Every car is equipped with factory screw holes for fitting the sump guard, so this operation is extremely simple. It can be installed by you, or at any auto service station.
For fitting your sump guard you don't need any mechanical interventions on the vehicle structure. Guarantee and handling of the car are not affected.

What are Sheriff Skid Plates?
Sheriff skid plate is a metal casing that protects most important elements and components, located in the engine bay and under carriage of your vehicle.
Sheriff do not use universal approach to new product designing, each skid plate is created especially for a specific vehicle. The design of a skid plate depends on the car's body type, engine volume & modification etc. Sheriff engineers take into consideration all mentioned issues to secure perfect fitting and operational performance of Sheriff skid plates.
A sump guard is a plate usually made from aluminium or steel which fits to the chassis under the engine to provide protection for the engine sump and other ancillaries such as exhaust manifold & downpipe etc. These vehicle specific protection guards are a necessity for off-road vehicles & rally cars which are subjected to rough terrain and forest tracks which can hold large rocks easily capable of smashing a sump and causing extensive damage to an engine.
