Standard rubber front LOWER wishbone arm bushes sometimes known as control arms for the Hilux Surf & Land Cruisers. This kit contains two bushes for one front lower wishbone arm. (1 kit, 1 Lower arm) and supplied by Kavo from the Netherlands, an ideal kit for a MOT failure.

These bushes are also known as Metalastic Bushes as they have a steel insert and outer casing that is bonded to the rubber to form a bush. Each bush is simply pressed into the lower control arms as if fitting an original bush.

This kit will fit either the driver or passenger side Lower wishbone (control arm).
Like Toyota, Kavo list two bushes for the lower arm, although very similar there are differences and many aftermarket suppliers use the same bush. Kavo supply as per Toyota design and use two bushes as follows:

The front bush of the front lower arm is Kavo # SCR-9040 = Toyota 48061-35040
The rear bush of the front lower arm is Kavo # SCR-9042 = Toyota 48061-35050

It is common for the original Toyota sleeve & bolt to seize in each bush, use part number SUHW015 if required.

Worn suspension wishbone arm bushings have a huge influence on vehicle stability and braking efficiency. Replacing worn bushes will help retain their designed geometry giving better handling & steering response, longer component & tyre life and an improved ride quality over worn rubber bushes.
