Stage 2 Exhaust Flexi section for the Hilux Surf KZN130 & UK 4 Runner with 1KZTE 3.0 TD diesel engine, comes with a 2 Year Warranty and manufactured in the UK by A2A.
The system on these models is made up of 4 sections, the downpipe, 2nd section with the flexi-pipe in, followed by the large main silencer then the rear tailpipe that exits the vehicle.
This is the 2nd section that's approx. 90cm long, it has the distinctive flexi section in the pipe to take the movement of the engine etc. Unlike other manufacturers, A2A choose to use a high-quality Stainless Steel convoluted internal with Stainless outer Braiding for this section of the pipe, this provides strength and longevity on a constantly moving part of the system. The pipe has a 2 bolt flange fitting at either end with a round clamp used to connect to the mount.
All bolts, sealing gaskets and mountings are sold separately.
Use sealing ring EXG3 at either end.
Quality of build:
- All tubing made from 1.5mm thick Aluminised steel, for strength and corrosion protection
- The Braided section is a Stainless Steel Internal Convoluted with external braiding.
- 2 Year parts warranty
- All flanges are either CNC milled or pressed steel to OE specifications
- All pipe bends are carried out with the latest mandrel type pipe bending, the best in the business.
- Endplates where applicable, are dished to provide strength
- Couple all this with quality welding and attention to detail and it's easy to see why these are in our opinion the best exhausts on the market, we're also proud to say they are built in the UK !!
