Free Delivery UK Mainland

Orders placed before 15:00 weekdays will be dispatched on the same day subject to stock and points below.

  • RoughTrax uses Couriers DHL, FedEx and Parcelforce for most boxed deliveries, you will automatically receive an email & text message for UK customers from these couriers with the relevant tracking details and delivery timeslots if your details have been provided.
  • For packages sent via Royal Mail Tracked service, then Royal Mail only send their automatic Tracking number from the delivery depo on Day of Delivery - not prior - these are as per the Royal Mail T&C's.
  • A signature is usually required for all deliveries however if you are not around to take the delivery, the courier will try your neighbours, or (if a signature is not required) will try to find a safe, dry place to leave your parcel.
  • Saturday is not classified as a standard delivery day, therefore Monday becomes the next working day after Friday.
  • Orders placed before 15:00 on a Friday will be attempted the following Monday subject to area and delivery option selected.
    Orders placed after 15:00 or over the weekend will be dispatched on the following Monday.
    We are closed over Bank Holidays.
  • Please note that if you wish to make any additions or alternations to your intial order you will need to let us know before 12 noon as we have two collections per day.

Free Delivery - (select at checkout)

Subject to Terms, RoughTrax now offer a free delivery on orders placed ONLINE over £90.00 including VAT subject to below -Nb. Free Delivery is a slower service and subject to conditions below.
All orders placed before 15:00 GMT weekdays will be dispatched on the same day subject to stock.
Free Delivery does not Include Saturday delivery nor certain postcodes. You can enter your postcode at checkout prior to any payment to see if you qualify.

  • To qualify for free delivery your order must be delivered to a UK mainland address (some areas may not comply) and your order must be placed online. Enter your postcode at checkout prior to any payment to see if you qualify.
  • *Excludes Islands where surcharges apply, also some areas of Scotland - as a guide please see the post code listings below or
  • Some larger items are classed as 'ugly freight' (e.g. leaf springs, Torsion bars, exhausts, etc) going to some postcode areas. If they do not qualify for Free delivery then the carriage charge will be quoted depending upon what's in your basket.
  • Simply add product to basket and enter your postcode in checkout and the website will calculate carriage options for you prior to submitting an order.
  • The Free Delivery option (if you qualify) MUST be selected at checkout.

Free delivery is not valid on any telephone order.

  • Next working day delivery on orders placed before 15:00 on a Friday are attempted Monday subject to the option selected.

BFPO Addresses

Deliveries to BFPO addresses are only available with Royal Mail using the BFPO HM Forcemail service to the following UK BFPO locations;

BFPO 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 26, 28, 30, 31, 35, 38, 39, 40, 44, 47, 53, 57, 58, 59, 109, 113, 115, 140, 567.

Price
The basic price starts from £15.00+vat per parcel up to 2kg. We cannot ship any oversized items.

All BFPO's have a maximum weight of 2kg per parcel.

No delivery speed guarantee is available as time will depend on exact stationing of unit.
Tracking is available from collection right up to point of departure.

BFPO address details must only contain;
Service Number, Rank & Name:
Section or Company:
Unit or Regiment:
Operation Name (if applicable):
BFPO Number:

Any other address details after the BFPO number on the address can lead to mail being diverted to the wrong BFPO location, the automatic sortation equipment will read the last line of the address.

It is important that all mail sent through the BFPO system is addressed correctly to ensure a smooth delivery to the destination address.

PO Box Addresses

All orders delivered to PO Box addresses will be dispatched with Royal Mail, with this in mind there is a weight restriction of 2kg for all orders being sent to a PO Box address.

If your order exceeds our 2kg weight limit you can arrange your own collection from RoughTrax by a courier of your choice to your PO Box address, to find out more information on how this works go to our arrange my own courier section.

Dispatch Cut-Off Time

All orders placed before 15:00 GMT weekdays (Monday to Friday) will be dispatched on the same day subject to stock and your payment has been approved.

If there is a delay on your order or your order includes a 'stock to order' product, we will let you know the day it will be dispatched by email or text message.

If you place an order after our 15:00 processing cut-off time, at the weekend or on a Bank Holiday then your order will be processed for dispatch the next working day.

RoughTrax use FedEx, Parcelforce & Royal Mail for all deliveries, you will automatically receive an email & text message for UK customers with the relevant tracking details and delivery timeslots if your details have been provided.

Refused parcels

RoughTrax dispatch all goods promptly and efficiently, we can deliver on a specified day or deliver to an alternative address if you are unable to be in to sign for the goods. However RoughTrax cannot be held responsible if;

  • A parcel is refused upon delivery.
  • A parcel has been attempted delivery on a number of occasions.
  • A parcel has not been collected from your local depot.
  • A parcel has not been arranged to be re-delivered within the courier's grace period.

If a parcel has been refused or has been unable to be delivered to the specified address there will be a surcharge of £16.95+VAT per parcel that is returned to RoughTrax for the administration and return fees from the courier.

Damaged goods

In the unlikely event your parcel or goods are damaged upon delivery please notify RoughTrax within 7 days of the parcel being delivered for a replacement to be arranged.

We need to inform the courier and submit a claim within 7 days; if possible photographs of any damage to a parcel or product will be gratefully received.

If the parcel is visibly damaged upon delivery please sign for the consignment as "Damaged". This will significantly speed up the process of the claim.

Delivery disruptions

In the event of disruptions couriers will keep you updated with your parcel tracking.

A small number of deliveries can sometimes be disrupted due to a number of reasons throughout the year; all couriers do there upmost to keep disruptions to a minimum. Some of the disruptions can include;

  • Bank holidays around the world.
  • Black Friday & Cyber Monday.
  • Adverse weather conditions.
  • Seasonal celebrations. (Easter, Christmas, New Year etc.)

If you have been affected by any of the disruptions above, or if you haven't received the goods on the date you were expecting or within a reasonable time after you ordered, please contact RoughTrax by telephone or email and we will rectify any issues with delivery promptly & efficiently.

With all UK mainland orders, you will automatically receive an email or text message with the relevant tracking details once your consignment has been created and delivery timeslots on the day of delivery if your details have been provided.

If RoughTrax is not open on the day of your delivery please contact your local delivery depot for any details regarding your delivery which can be found on the tracking email sent by the courier on behalf of RoughTrax.

Additional delivery information

Stock to order & specially ordered products

If a product has been stocked to order which is stated on the product pages and during checkout then delivery can be delayed for up to 3-4 days, on occasions products can be held on back order with the suppliers or manufacturers in which case RoughTrax will contact you to let you know of any delays and confirm when to expect delivery. The same applies for products specially ordered products for individual customers that may not be listed on the website but have been ordered upon request.

Delivery times are estimated and may vary

All delivery services are estimated, RoughTrax will not be held responsible for any delays by the courier. Please allow sufficient time for delivery, delays are very rare but they can happen.

Lost or disputed delivery of goods

If any parcels are lost during transport or a customer has a delivery dispute within the UK or Internationally. FedEx, Parcelforce & Royal Mail will carry out a full investigation before any claim can be processed.

All delivery companies used by RoughTrax will carry out searches of the depots if any parcel has been lost during transit, they will be provided with a full description of the missing parcel/s and goods. Once this has been completed we can then make a claim if no goods have been found.

If there is a dispute regarding delivery, all delivery companies use the same policy that they will interview the driver to obtain where a parcel may have been delivered or left. Tracking information will be collected from the scanners and passed onto the investigation team of the delivery company.

Any claim for lost parcels or disputes must be made within 14 days after the goods have been dispatched from RoughTrax.

Parcelforce FedEx & Royal Mail have up to 30 days to investigate any claim.

FedEx’s investigation period is up to 7 days within the UK, International disputes can take longer pending the destination country.
