1. All vehicles have a Chassis plate (identification plate); on a Toyota 4x4 it is attached on the bulkhead, under the bonnet at the rear of the engine bay or on the right hand side of the engine bay behind the wing.

2. Your vehicles Model number and Chassis (frame) number will be stamped on it.

3. On Import models you can also find part of the model number within the chassis number found on your Log book, e.g. a Surf LN130 (2.4TD) may have a Chassis (frame) number of LN130-0080214 and a Model number Q-LN130W-GKPQT, hence the term LN130.

4. At RoughTrax we can also order a Genuine Toyota Part in the U.K for you, this will save you from dealing with some of the "unhelpful Toyota dealers"!, however, it will be necessary to have BOTH the FULL CHASSIS (frame) and MODEL numbers from the plate. The chassis gives us the year of manufacture and the Model the vehicle specification.
