A 302mm Solid front brake disc 12.5mm thick by leading supplier BluePrint , fits the Toyota Hilux Pickup Mk1 & Mk2 4WD 1979-1988 & Land Cruiser LJ70 between 1988-1990 ONLY.

Very high-quality brakes discs for these rare early models that stand equally against OE parts, in fact, many Garages will specify the Brand BluePrint when fitting brake discs for their renowned quality of materials, machining and fit.
BluePrint discs friction faces where the pad makes contact are both simultaneously machined on both faces ensuring parallel machining and individual disc thickness variation minimized, what's more, parallel machining prevents excessive run-out of friction surfaces.
The obvious result is the "Criss - cross" effect on the surface of the disc which is proven to help the bedding in of the pad to disc and so maximising braking efficiency.
This is the solid disc as per original vehicle fitment - all dimensions are in the Specifications tab - Later models run a larger Vented disc.

How do I fit the brake discs?

Removing The Wheel
After hoisting the vehicle and removing the wheel, the first step is to take off the caliper retaining spring.

Remove The Brake Pads
After unbolting the caliper, remove the old brake pads.

TOP TIP: Suspend the caliper from the wheel hub using a hook while changing the discs and pads in order to reduce any undue strain and subsequent damage to the hoses

Remove The Caliper
Remove the caliper carrier to enable access to remove the old disc.

Compare
Visually compare the old parts with the new to be sure they match.

Clean
If uncoated, clean the disc to remove the protective oil layer and clean the hub to guarantee the disc can sit flush against it, then place and fit the new disc.

Tested at every turn
As the new pads will be thicker than the old, the hydraulic piston in the caliper must be pushed back slightly to allow space for the new pad.

Re-fit The Caliper Carrier
Re-fit the caliper carrier, again ensuring it has been cleaned and any foreign objects have been cleared.

Re-fit The Caliper
Place the new pads in the caliper, remove the protective coating from the shim if applicable, and re-fit the caliper to the caliper carrier.

Caliper Retaining Spring
All that's left is to place the caliper retaining spring (if fitted) and fit the wheel back on to the vehicle.
