A Genuine Toyota Torsion bar adjust bolt with special top nut for Hilux models with Independent front suspension (IFS).
This is the long bolt 185mm in length that fits to the rear of the torsion bar bracket to adjust the front suspension ride height.
It is found underneath the vehicle roughly below where the driver or passenger sits. It has a 22mm socket size bolt head and often found seized when trying to make adjustments. The top nut has a specific shaped shank to located in the adjuster bracket.
As this is such a long but quite thin bolt, 185mm in length, this bolt can twist when trying to adjust and at worst sheer so when making any adjustments always check the bolt is actually turning through the top nut and not just twisting.
