A rear half-shaft stud, cone and gasket fitting kit for the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series listed manufactured by Karsons at a great price.

Our new kit has been compiled to make ordering easier, one kit will have enough studs (6) with new cones seats, spring washers, nuts, the mounting gasket even two locating dowels to fit one hub.

This kit it is fitted to the end of the main hub that houses the wheel bearings and retains the half-shaft. They are often found damaged when trying to remove the half shaft.

Stud length - 42.5mm with
Thread - 8mm at each end
Nut - 8mm with a 13mm socket size

Removing an old stud tip:
Once the hub is off, screw onto the stud an old nut, take a second nut and screw that on so that both nuts are on the stud, lock the two nuts together using two spanners, once locked, use the first nut screwed on to unscrew the stud anti-clockwise, this 'should' remove the stud.

Nut Torque:
It is a relatively low torque of just 23 ft-lb or 31Nm - DON'T over torque or you will sheer the stud!
