Details

A new discounted Wheel bearing nut adjuster kit for various model Hilux pickups, Surfs and Land Cruisers by Karsons.

The kit is now far more cost effective that buying the individual components, contains all the components for either adjusting or replacing wheel bearings, what's more the adjuster nuts are as per original size, 54mm so fits the hub sockets.
The thrust washer sits between the outer bearing and the adjust nut, the locking tab is situated between the two nuts and the tabs bent over either nut to prevent them coming undone once assembled and the second nut is the locking nut.

Kit Contains;
1x Stub axle thrust washer,
2x 54mm retaining nuts (both the same) equivalent to OE: 43521-60011
1x Locking Tab.

Fitting tip:

The tab washer fits between the wheel bearing adjust nut and the lock nut (both the same 54mm nut).
Once you have adjusted the wheel bearing pre-load fit the tab washer and then lock off tightly with the 2nd hub nut.
Check wheel bearing pre-load again and once happy bend one of the locking tabs over the adjust nut flat and another over the locking nut, this then locks them together and will prevent the nuts from working loose.
If the tabs are bent back and forth then they have a tendency to break off so always worth replacing this vital tab washer when working in this area.
