Details

A Genuine Toyota chain type spare wheel carrier assembly 51900-60270 (TYPE B) for the Land Cruiser 100 series only.
Please note: The Land Cruiser 100 series can be fitted with either the chain carrier TYPE B, or the Wire carrier TYPE A - please do check prior to ordering.

The spare wheel carrier 51900-60270 (TYPE B) is bolted to the chassis cross-member and used for locating and winding the spare wheel up and down.
Only fits the Land Cruiser 100 series with the chain operated carrier
Many mechanisms may look similar but they are all model specific.
When you lower the spare all the way down you simply detach the carrier holder from the centre of the wheel. Winding it all the way back up will secure the spare against the chassis preventing it from dropping down.
It's well worth winding the spare up and down and lubricating the mechanism every so often as these are often found seized.

Please note, this is the original chain type carrier with the correct top chassis mount fixing points.
Genuine Toyota part comes as per our images, guaranteed quality and fit. Toyota do not supply any bolts with the part.
