A brand new premium quality 2.7 KW starter motor for the Hilux Pickup KUN25 & KUN26 between 2005-2016 comes with a 1- year part warranty, now from one of the most established European manufacturers and distributors, Kuhner of Italy - part of the DAS Europe Group.

This Hilux Pickup Starter Motor is excellent quality, great value for a high-end product.

The starter motor is supplied with the original plug type and mounting position as pictured. Many aftermarket starter motors have the incorrect plug setup and positioning. On this starter motor the plug faces outwards to avoid stretching or extending the loom, it's just like the original Toyota Denso starter motor design fitted from factory.

Fits models from July/2005-2016 with the 2.7KW starter motor.

An easy way to identify if you have the larger 2.7KW starter motor fitted to your vehicle is to find the original Denso sticker attached to the starter motor, this should still have the original part numbers of either 28100-0L050, 28100-0L051 or 28100-0L052.

Alternatively, if you do not have the original starter motor fitted then the larger 2.7KW starter motors have a 17mm spanner size terminal nut bolting the main battery feed wire onto the starter. The 2.2KW Starter Motor will have a 12mm or 13mm spanner size terminal nut.

Please Note: Our starter motors are supplied to the same specification of the original Toyota starter motor of 2.7KW - NOT the smaller less powerful aftermarket 2.2KW starter motor often found listed on some websites, they will fit but they do not have the same power as the original factory starter and will likely fail prematurely.
