Depo Right Hand Rear Light Assembly 07/2011-2016 (Clear Fog Lamp Lens)

The Right Hand, Drivers side rear light assembly for the Hilux pickup KUN25 & KUN26 models from approx. July 2011-2016, manufactured by Depo, does not come with bulb holders or bulbs but is supplied with a red fog lamp bulb.

About the light:

• This unique light is easily distinguishable from the earlier models in the fact it has a chrome 25mm strip through the centre of the light (see images).
• Top of the lens is red plastic for the stop tail and clear section beneath for the amber indicator bulb and reverse bulb - for customers with UK models that have the fog light at the bottom, we supply a red bulb instead.
• Please note - THE FOG LAMP HAS A CLEAR LENS ON THIS LAMP - original UK spec models had a red fog lamp lens as on RLAMP030UK
  The original right-hand rear light on some spec models may have a Red bottom lens for the Fog Lamp. This aftermarket light has found on Import models doesn't use a fog lamp and so the lens is clear, therefore RoughTrax supply the Right-Hand rear light with one red bulb which you fit in place of the original clear bulb so when you operate the fog lamp it light's up Red. It does also mean that it then matches the Left-hand rear original light cluster.
• A reflector strip is built into the light at the bottom as with the original Toyota light.
• This RH light comes with a red fog lamp bulb (supplied by R/T), but without bulb holders or bulbs - you can fit your originals.

Fitting:

• The light is fitted by dropping the tailgate, remove the two 10mm spanner size bolts/screws.
• With a little force pull the light back towards you away from the body. There are two dowel pins to the left of the light that locate the light into the body, these are easily visible in the images if you need direction before attempting to remove the old unit.
• UK models - fit the red bulb supplied to operate the fog lamp.
• Don't overtighten the screws when refitting, it's only plastic!
• Finally, as always, check the light is working.

Please Note:
You may need to use your original bulb holders instead of the bulb holders supplied (most light manufacturers don't even supply bulb holders), we have noticed on certain models depending on where the vehicle was produced, the right-hand rear fog light bulb holder is wired into the reverse lamp as it was originally designed for import models without the fog lamp inside the tail light. Some people have needed to replace the bulb holders which is why we do not remove them from the light.
