Q. How much oil do I need?
A. Depends on the model, at the bottom of the website, or link below, is our vehicle specification information where you can select your model to view all capacities where applicable.

Important note to understand:
With ATF you will often notice 2 filling capacities - "Drain & Refill" or "Dry fill from Rebuild"

Drain & Refill:
Where the auto gearbox sump is drained and refilled - however, and this is important, only the oil held in the sump is drained which is often only a few liters and a small propotion of the overal capacity, this is because the majority of oil in an auto gearbox is still held within the torque convertor, valve body and auto clutch packs etc, so draining the autobox sump, only replenishes a proportion of oil held within an auto gearbox.

"Dry fill from Rebuild"
This would be the total capacity of oil held as specified by Toyota in an auto gearbox and Torque Convertor if you removed and rebuilt the gearbox from scratch.
