Details

A new Aluminium radiator for models WITH rad cap fits the Land Cruiser KDJ120 & KDJ125 models. Manufactured by one of the leading companies AVA from Germany, a high spec 32mm thick 3-row cooling core to help water circulation.

Please note: This radiator setup comes WITH a radiator cap on top whereas some models depending on spec. do not and have the cap on the expansion tank.

(Use part number RAD004 for the radiator without the Radiator cap setup that uses the expansion tank)

This radiator has been manufactured using the latest construction techniques, it features a 32mm thick 3-row Aluminium Brazed Core providing strength and efficient cooling, it has also been oven baked to fuse the plastic tanks to the core which is an additional process that many similar looking radiators simply don't do and rely on glued or bonded tanks.

RoughTrax has now also added a new radiator cap to the product to ensure correct fitment and less hassle to the customer. This is by far the best aftermarket radiator we have seen to date and in this crucial area we feel quality counts

As this radiator fits models with Automatic transmissions as well as manual transmissions you will notice one plastic side tank will house the two copper fittings where the automatic transmission fluid pipes connect onto, when fitting this radiator to a manual gearbox model you simply ignore these pipes as if they were not there, nothing will go in and nothing will come out of these fitting.
Basically as with many car manufacturers now, they produce one radiator for both transmission options which helps keeps overall production costs down, our manufacturer has also done the same.
